Your pet remains in his/her safe, secure environment, where all the sights,
smells, and sounds are familiar to them. They will continue to follow their regular daily routine including
maintaining their normal diet and exercise regimen, as well as any necessary medical care. Unlike kennel care,
your pet is protected from illnesses and parasites carried by other animals. Plus, your pet doesn't have to be
uncomfortable traveling in a car, or have the stress of an unfamiliar environment. Instead, your pet receives daily
care and attention, leaving you with peace of mind that they are in reliable and capable hands while you're away.
All Care Providers are screened by the company. We
pride ourselves on happy clients and will gladly provide you with references. Our staff is also highly trained to be
security conscientious. Care Providers will become familiar with your alarm/security system, and will discuss anything with
you related to safety and security of both your home and pet during your initial Meet & Greet Visit.
Basically the 18902 postal code, but please ask. There is a small per mile charge past our designated radius.
Almost any pet as long as they do not pose a danger to our Care Providers.
Yes. We are
happy to provide references upon request. Please also be sure to visit our TESTIMONIALS page to read some recent reviews left by our happy clients.
Yes we are. A copy of the policy is available upon request.
We want to ensure that your pet and home are cared for
just the way you specify. If you are not completely satisfied with the services that were provided, we will be happy to address any concerns you might have. We pride
ourselves on lasting client relationships and our service is only complete when you have returned home and are satisfied with the care your pet and home have received.
Payment is due at the first scheduled visit. Only cash/checks are accepted and many clients just leave it on the table/counter for our
Care Provider.
Our rounds usually begin at 7am and end at 9pm, although clients can
request that we arrive earlier than 7am or later than 9pm as needed.
The number and location
of our clients changes daily, so we can't always guarantee a specific time. We try to be consistent with your pet's routine as much as possible
though, as animals like regularity in their lives as much as we do. Daily visits will be at approximately the same time each day, and twice daily visits will be
approximately 12-hours apart. The length of each visit can be tailored to individual needs.
We prefer to keep the same Care Provider assigned to your home each time. However, if there are unforeseen circumstances that don't allow your
original Care Provider to come as scheduled, another fully-informed Care Provider will take their place to ensure your pet/home receive seamless
care.
We ensure that there are other reliable Care Providers available that can take their place to ensure that your
pet and/or home receive seamless care.
Yes, as long as you provide detailed instructions.
We will have you sign an Emergency Vet Release Form that allows us to take your pet to your vet,
if open or an emergency vet.
It is suggested that you leave a key with Safe & Sound so that future visits only require a
quick phone call to arrange. If Safe & Sound has to pick up or drop off a key, there will be an additional $10.00 charge incurred. It is also helpful
that Safe & Sound has an extra key on file in case you are ever locked out of your house ($10.00 lock out fee).
